Vladimir Tarasov – Atto IV

Vladimir Tarasov (b 1947) has been an active free jazz figure and multidisciplinary artist since the late 60's, first in the Soviet Union then Lithuania and later worldwide.

Atto is a long evolving experimental music project from Tarasov - Atto IV was originally released by the Soviet label Melodija / Мелодия in 1990. On this fourth outing Tarasov's unique percussion merges with a hypnotically repetitive synth sequence into one singular long-form journey. All instruments are played by Tarasov himself.
