A darkly brilliant outlier in the techno continuum, Wireless finds Berlin innovator Torsten Pröfrock (aka T++, Various Artists, Dynamo, Traktor and more) pushing broken rhythms to their absolute edge. First released in 2010 on Honest Jon’s, this double 12” is both a farewell and a peak—a culmination of decades spent honing a unique language of mutated, dubwise techno and experimental groove. Sampling archival Ugandan recordings from 1938–46, Pröfrock transforms them into twisted, bass-heavy bangers rooted in garage, jungle, and dubstep lineage.

With tracks like “Cropped” and “Dig,” Wireless channels UK energy through a Berlin lens, fusing syncopated low-end theory with an almost ritualistic intensity. Fiercely rhythmic, deeply layered, and wholly singular, it’s a cult classic from one of techno's most elusive minds.
