Incredible club-friendly techno/house hybrid from undersung Finnish IDM producer Lassi Nikko (aka Brothomstates).

Released on the brief, dance-focused Warp sub-label Arcola (they managed seven releases in total) this was a stand out 12" with Nikko reigning in his far-out-of-leftfield tendencies in order to deliver an absolute beast of cold-hearted house on A-side Rktic. The equally brilliant (but more spaced-out and much warmer) B-side Matala Bobo has been having a bit of a resurgence of late, cropping up in sets from the likes of DJ Sotofett, Will Saul and Pender Street Steppers.
