Boards of Canada - Peel Session

One of the finer entries in the Warp Records Peel Sessions series - the BOC brothers treat us to two alternative renditions ('Aquarius' and 'Olson') and an exclusive ('Happy Cycling').

They don't necessarily improve on the Music Has The Right To Children highlights but they don't do them disservice either - they're just different (longer, murkier, more organic) and well worth hearing. The main gem in this release though is the exclusive 'Happy Cycling', an eight-minute motorik number giving Kraftwerk a run for their money when it comes to soundtracking an excessive (and in this case psychedelically drug-fuelled) outing via two-wheeled transport. In our opinion, one of the Sandison brothers' finest moments.
